The Opera House is a beautiful event venue located in the heart of Kennett, Missouri. The historic venue can accommodate events of all sizes and provides everything you need to host a picturesque wedding or special event. We offer three rental options to meet your event’s needs. Choose our Operetta for small intimate events, our Grand Opera for larger gatherings, or the Full house for the largest celebrations! No matter the size or occasion, you and your guests will be immersed in stunning exposed brick, original wood, and timeless details, along with outstanding customer service, offered by The Opera House.


Friday – Saturday

Full Day Rentals


  • The Operetta | 75-100 guests – $700
  • The Grand Opera | 200 guests – $900
  • The Full House | 300-350 guests – $1,100


Additional Fees & Options


  • Security Deposit (refundable) – $325 
  • Bridal Suite – $150
  • Cleaning Fee (optional) – $200


Sunday – Thursday

  • The Grand Opera | 200 guests – $525
  • The Full House | 300-350 guests – $650

Rental Service


All rentals include the use of the kitchen. Full day rentals are from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM. A non-refundable $500 down payment ($300 for Sunday-Thursday events) is required to hold your date and is due at the time of booking. Tax will be applied to the rental at the rate of 9.162%. Accepted forms of payment are cash, check, and card.

Linen Rentals


Simplify your event planning by renting table linens from The Opera House. We keep basic white, ivory, and black linens in stock, and can custom order other colors to suit your needs. Linens rented from us will be pressed and on the tables when you arrive the day of your event.


In-Stock Linens

Prices listed are for in-stock linens only. Prices vary for custom orders. Ask us for a quote.
If you rent linens through The Opera House, you must provide us with the final count and color choice along with payment at least 30 days prior to your event.
